A syllabus is an important document that explains class
policies, clarifies the instructor’s expectations, and answers many questions.
Taking the time to read this document at the beginning of the semester and returning
to it throughout the semester will help keep you on the path to academic
success. You will find your syllabus in your Blackboard course. Most syllabi
contain the sections that are summarized in this video; your syllabus may
contain other sections. (“Syllabi” is the plural form of “syllabus.”)
